Mr. Upendra Trivedi, Director- Technical
Excellent Diagnostic and Research Agency is a firm engaged in Pre & Post Commissioning and Diagnostic of Power Apparatus in Distribution, Transmission, and Generation, is post graduate in Electrical Engineering and has vast and reach experience in the same field for more than 3 decades while serving Electrical Research and Development Association before superannuating at Joint Director.
Mr. Mehul Rajput, Director- Operation
Excellent Diagnostic and Research Agency’s Director-Operation is responsible for examining, analyzing, and preparing financial records and statements for our organization. He often provides input and advice on financial matters including those systems used to track and record costs and expenses. And utilize his Knowledge of accounts and tax strategies to grow up the organization.
Mr. Upendra C Trivedi, Director - Technical
Mr. Upendra C. Trivedi is a highly accomplished post-graduate in Electrical Engineering with over three decades of distinguished experience in the power sector. As the Director – Technical at Excellent Diagnostic and Research Agency, he leads the firm’s efforts in pre- and post-commissioning diagnostics of power apparatus across distribution, transmission, and generation systems.
Mr. Trivedi began his career in 1980 as a Testing Engineer at ABB (formerly known as HBB). He later joined the Electrical Research and Development Association (ERDA) during its formative years, where he played a pivotal role in establishing a wide range of technical services, including EHV testing, power systems, power electronics, and energy audits. His contributions were instrumental in shaping ERDA’s technical capabilities, and he superannuated as Joint Director (second only to the CEO/Director of ERDA) after a illustrious career spanning over three decades.
A pioneer in his field, Mr. Trivedi was trained by NABL (National Accreditation Board for Testing and Calibration Laboratories, Government of India) in its first batch on Quality Management Systems in 1994. He has since made significant contributions to NABL as a member of various committees, document drafter, assessor, and lead assessor—a role he continues to fulfill.
With his extensive expertise in high voltage systems, power systems, diagnostics, and quality management, Mr. Trivedi identified a critical gap in the availability of high-quality diagnostic services in India. This vision led him to establish Excellent Diagnostic and Research Agency in Vadodara, the electrical power hub of India, to deliver world-class diagnostic and research solutions.
Mr. Mehul Rajput, Director -Operation
Currently, Mr. Rajput is an integral part of Excellent Diagnostic and Research Agency, where he leverages his extensive expertise to lead marketing initiatives, develop strategic partnerships, and enhance the agency’s brand visibility. His deep understanding of the electrical testing sector, combined with his sharp business acumen, has been instrumental in positioning the agency as a trusted name in the industry.
Throughout his career, Mr. Rajput has excelled in identifying market opportunities, crafting innovative marketing strategies, and delivering results that align with organizational goals. His ability to connect with clients, understand their needs, and provide tailored solutions has earned him a reputation as a reliable and forward-thinking professional.
- Developing and implementing the commercial strategy for the business
- Understanding the value drivers of the business and identifying profitable commercial opportunities to grow the revenue of the organization.
- Developing and maintaining an excellent understanding of the key customers/target audience to ensure that their needs are being met and that their business is retained.
- Working closely with the Head of Sales to manage key customers (existing and new), thereby improving turnover and profitability
- Reviewing existing products, services, and markets.
- Ensuring that regular reviews are carried out with customers, to ensure that their needs are being met and that excellent customer service is achieved and, developing future improvements/services for the customers.
- Maintaining an awareness of external factors (including competitors, government business initiatives, current and proposed legislation in relation to commercial activities) which impact the business. Communicating such information and any subsequent changes to the Managing Director (MD).
- Responsible for Accounts Management.
- Reconcile the Debtors & Creditors from time to time with Account Department.
- Reconcile the Service Tax, CENVAT, and TDS Liability from time to time.
- Deal with all the Commercial, statutory responsibilities from time to time.
